Linda McCartney's Sixties: Portrait of an Era
These are all pictures that the pretty lady above (Linda McCartney) took during the Sixties... These pictures were for all to view @ the Huntsville Museum of Art until today.... I had wanted to go see these, and Mom won 2 tickets (they were only $7 apiece.... but still) so, Cassia, Mom, Rhiannon, and I went to view the display this afternoon after church.
I had a blast... But i'm not sure how everyone else liked it.... I did kinda feel weird, all these older guys with ponytails and pot bellies were running around going: "HEY... I Remember THOSE guys!!!" lol... And the only person in there that COULD have been maybe under 20, was wearing a tyedyed shirt, and looked like he had on some John Lennon glasses... Anyways... I REALLY enjoyed myself... and I am VERY glad I went...
Thanks Mom, and Cass for going with me.

Another song From the Eagles "Farewell Tour"
The "CREDIT CARD" Song :D
Glenn Frey does a great job on the lyrics once again... and of course the rest of them harmonizes wonderfully. You should see them in the 70's... You wouldn't even recognize them.
All alone at the end of the of the evening
And the bright lights have faded to blue
I was thinking 'bout a woman who might have
Loved me and I never knew
You know I've always been a dreamer
(spent my life running 'round)
And it's so hard to change
(Can't seem to settle down)
But the dreams I've seen lately
Keep on turning out and burning out
And turning out the same
So put me on a highway
And show me a sign
And take it to the limit one more time
You can spend all your time making money
You can spend all your love making time
If it all fell to pieces tomorrow
Would you still be mine?
And when you're looking for your freedom
(Nobody seems to care)
And you can't find the door
(Can't find it anywhere)
When there's nothing to believe in
Still you're coming back, you're running back
You're coming back for more
So put me on a highway
And show me a sign
And take it to the limit one more time
Take it to the limit
Take it to the limit
Take it to the limit one more time

There's a Hole in the World Tonight- The Eagles
I have heard this song, and heard this song, but until I saw Glenn Frey, and Don Henley talking about this song on "The Eagle's Farewell Tour", I had no clue what this song was about...
I am better educated now. They(The Eagles) were scheduled to have to have a recording session on September 11th of 2001, but as you could imagine, it never happened. Instead, they sat down and wrote this song. "There's a Hole in the World Tonight"....
It made me appreciate it lots more... Hope you guys can appreciate it now too.
Glenn Frey and Don Henley wrote it btw... Just them 2 not the whole group.

hahahehehhoho
New years for me started on Wednesday... And didn't end until Tuesday... Every single one of the messages were very much of a blessing to me.
Not everyone could come this year, which was sad, but it was SO much fun!!
I had a blast :
#1 playing Kentucky Derby in Leah's car
#2 listening to BonJovi's "Living on a Prayer" in Nathan's car (and the Sanford truck, which I adore)
#3 arguing with John G,
#4 going to Walmart like every day or maybe 2 times...
#5 Welcoming the New year with grapes (thanks to Kezi)
#6 Staying up till 4 with Leila, Keila, and Dana...
#7 Laughing with Britney
#8 watching Tia almost DOMINATE Nathan on the wii...
#9 playing blitz at Mandi's house
#10 NOT BEING SICK!!
It seemed like so many people were either sick or getting sick in this meeting... I started to feel a little bit sick Thursday night... But I prayed about it, and it never developed into me actually BEING sick, so I'm very thankful for that.
If you want some pics... go to either Leah Brooke's blog, or Jonathan's...
